Having had past careers as a hairdresser and a florist I am now concentrating on developing my love for making art. As well as attending various art classes I have completed a 2 year part-time course at Ipswich Art School. I have exhibited in London and extensively in my native county of Suffolk. My work is inspired by the walks I take on the Suffolk coast local to me.

I was a finalist in The Holly Bush Emerging Woman Painter Prize 2017 and during 2019 I have exhibited at the Sussex Art Fair at Goodwood and Inspired by Becker Art Society (IBBAS) in Suffolk. I have also been Shortlisted for The Royal Arts Prize 2020 in London.

My journeys take me to the expanse of the meeting edge of sea, sky, beach and heath. I return often as the seasons, rhythms and tones change throughout the year. My aim is to express the spirit and patterns of my subject with colour, line and form.  I hope you enjoy my work.
